Our course is not your typical self-defence course - it is far more than that, teaching everything we have learned through our Police and Education backgrounds.  

At Halo Tactical we believe in taking a holistic approach to looking after ones-self , so place equal focus on the softer skills, such as creating time, space, distance and improving situational awareness, alongside practical self-defence techniques.  

Yes - We recognise there is a demand for courses across industry, such as the Hospitality sector in regards keeping staff safe when returning home from work late at night etc. 

We are happy to tailor our courses to meet your specific needs - Just reach out and we can discuss options to meet your needs. 

Our course is aimed for young people aged between 14-17 years, and adapted accordingly to apply equally to adults too. 

Our course start at 1000 hours, and finish at 1500 hours.  Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time for check-in and preparation. 

Participants should wear comfortable, athletic clothing suitable for physical activity. Please ensure that clothing is clean and free from any jewellery or accessories that may pose a safety risk during training.

All equipment will be supplied by HALO TACTICAL, although students are welcome to bring their own equipment, including gloves, shin guards, mouth-guards, and any other protective gear if they wish.

Students should bring with them a packed lunch and water/water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the class. Additionally, please ensure they have had a nutritious meal or snack prior to training to maintain energy levels.

Where possible we aim to have maximum class sizes not exceeding 12 participants.

Yes - We have both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
